Welcome to the SchlatterHaus!

I started out in the photography world 31 years ago in high school and in college dreaming like all young photographers of traveling the world with National Geographic. Plans didn't evolve as I thought (they rarely do) and ultimately I made a career in video editing. Starting in the cable industry and then rising up to make it at the networks in New York City. Flash forward 25 years and today I'm an Emmy award winning video editor for CBS News working out of the Washington, D.C. bureau.

Recently though, I'm coming back full circle to my photography roots and providing a community service of family portraiture and youth sports as well as editing Indie films and documentaries.

Pitch me your project.

50% of all orders from the Virginia Run Swim Team will be donated on their behalf in 2012.
